Abstract
A case study of the community, working with a local Council in Melbourne Australia, to promote the planting of indigenous species on residential nature strips (also known as 'verges'). Key stakeholders in the project include Beaumaris Conservation Society - a local volunteer organisation dedicated to protecting neighbourhood character and habitat values; the Bayside Community Nursery - one of the first volunteer-run indigenous nurseries in the world; and Bayside City Council - who support the Community Nursery and manage the nature strip permit process.Use the two arrow buttons or scroll to move between pages.
